Completely surrounded by the Portes du Soleil ski region (The largest pisted ski-ing area in the world!) it offers some of the best tree lined skiing in the Alps and you are able to ski directly to over a dozen resorts including Avoriaz, Morzine, Les Gets, Morgins and Champery.

Just opened in Chatel is the all new 'Fastasticable' ride where you hang under a cable and fly 1.2 km between mountains at up to 100 km/h !

The Swiss border is less than 5 minutes away and in less than an hour you have access to Lake Geneva, the Evian Mineral Water Spring, Evian Casino, Outdoor Thermal Hot Springs, a Giant Indoor ‘Aqua Parc’, a Steam Museum, a Medieval Village on the shores of the lake, White Water Rafting, Castles, Vineyards and a whole host of other activities and places to visit.
