There are two ways for you to get a crab. You can buy it fresh from the market or you can buy it from dealers of frozen food. If you prefer to buy frozen crabs, make sure that it has passed all food regulatory bodies to ensure safety. After you purchased the crabs, you need to follow some basic steps and tips on cooking crabs.

Before you cook frozen crabs, you should first thaw it. You can thaw crabs by letting it defrost in the refrigerator for 8 to 10 hours. If you have time constraints and would like a faster way to thaw crabs, simply place it in a bowl or a sink full of cold water.
2. Prepare some water and sea salt. Put 3-5 liters of water and 3-5 tablespoons of sea salt into a pan and let it boil. (You can put additional water if you will be cooking more crabs).
